WHA-104 Active aluminum oxide defluorinating agent

2.Properties and uses:
     This product is white particle with high defluorinating capacity,good physical properties,high strength,non-toxic and tasteless.It will not be of softening,expanding and breaking when immersed in water.The product is safe to use,easy to regenerate and has a long period of service life.The quality of the purified water can meet the Natinal Standard for drinking water.In addition to use for defluorination of drinking water,it can also be used for defluorination of other industrial devices.This product has appraised by Tianjin Research Institute of Chemical Industry in 1993 and awarded the title of "Superior Product" of the province.

4.Precautions:
(1)This active aluminum oxide defluorinating agent can be used in household defluorinator,where 1.6Kg WHA-104 is loaded.The water enters into the bottom o the device and outs from the top of the device.It is easy operation and convenient for household use.It can also be used for defluorination in the waterworks or other industrial defluorinating device. (2)Activation of defluorianting agent: Prepare aluminum sulfate solution(0.3kg aluminum sulfate is dissolved in water of 3 liter),put aluminum oxide defluorinating agent into above solution for 5-10 hours and stir properly,then wash 3-5 times with water(2 liter water for each times).
(3)Regenerating of defluorinating agent:
Prepare aluminum Sulfate solution(same as above(2),put aluminum oxide defluorinating agent in it for 30 hours and stir properly,then wash 3-5 times with water(2 liter water for each times).
(4)The WHA-104 active aluminum oxide defluorinating agent can be used continuously for 6-8 years.If yellowish brown color appears,the defluorinating efficiency will decrease obviously.It would be best to treat it with 3% hydrochloric acid per half year,the operating procedures are same as that of regeneration.
